Holly and Dolores Meet with Sen. Kamala Harris

Holly often says she wouldn't change her son R.J. for the world...but she would change the world for her son. And she's ready to take her advocacy to Congress.

Fueled by her recent town hall discussion about policing and how to keep kids with autism, like R.J., safe when interacting with law enforcement, Holly takes the conversation to the next level by meeting with U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris. Elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016, Sen. Harris happens to be a family friend, Holly explains. "My mom and Kamala met years ago, early, early in Kamala's political career, and they bonded," she says.

Watch as Holly and her mom, Dolores, sit down with Sen. Harris after a rally in California, and see what the senator has to say about what can be done on a national level to keep individuals like R.J. well protected.
